Sardinia Tour The Classic Tour to start the Discovery the Land

Program 6 Days 5 Nights

1^st Day Arrival in Olbia. If the scheduling permit, in the afternoon tour of the Costa Smeralda, with pauses in famous Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and Baia Sardinia. Return to Olbia with with accommodation, dinner and overnight .

2^nd day Excursion to Maddalena and Caprera Island. Panoramic tour, visit of the town, and Garibaldi’s house in Caprera. Departure to Palau, accommodation in the hotel and lunch. In the afternoon tour of the Costa Smeralda, with pauses in famous Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and Baia Sardinia. Return to Olbia with dinner and overnight stay.

 

3^rd Day  in the morning departure to Castelsardo, well-known town because of the coral artisan shops and Sardinian basket manufacture. Visit of the town and lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon continuation to Porto Torres and visit of the Romanic Basilica of San Gavino and the archaeological area. Then leave for Stintino, well-known seaside resort, and pause at the famous beaches of Saline and Pelosa. Transfer to Alghero, accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4^th Day in the morning guided tour to the Nettuno Caves. Lunch free. In the afternoon visit Alghero’s historical centre, admiring: the Cathedral, S. Francesco’s Church, the walls and bastions.

5^th Day in the morning departure to Orgosolo. Stroll in the streets of the town, admiring the characteristic murales. Typical lunch with shepherds. In the afternoon visit of Nuoro to admire the Sardinian Popular Traditions Museum and Grazia Deledda’s house. Accommodation in hotel dinner and overnight stay.

6^th Day in the morning leave for Tharros to visit the ruins of the old Roman town and S. Giovanni in Sinis Church. Lunch free in Cabras, a little fisherman’s town. In the evening transfer to Cagliari, accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

7 th Day In the morning guided tour of Cagliari as  the Cathedral, the Roman Amphitheatre, Basilica, the Pisa Towers and the Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon visit the archaeological area of Nora, old town situated on a promontory: the ruins of the spa, the theatre and the mosaics. In scheduling departure of guests or one night in addiction.
