Discovering North Italy: From Milan to Venice and Florence

Program 08 days 07 night

1st day Arrival as scheduled flight in Malpensa Airport with private transfer in Milan with accommodation and welcome hotel with dinner and overnight. Depending timetable flight – time for panoramic view of the city .  

2nd Day Milan sightseeing tour  to discover this amazing city very well known as the first business city of Italy but indeed with a lot of monuments of large time in history of art. Full day visit of Milan is unplugged to visit first the Cathedral and the Sforzesco Castle with the exterior and interior tour to discover tower, rooms and "Stanza delle Guardie" (the Guardroom), which has been arranged inside the Torrione dei Carmini, offers an overview of weapons and defensive instruments used in the Sforza Age. The tour of this room presents some items related to the everyday life in the 15th and 16th centuries. Stop for free lunchtime in the area of Navigli – special place neaby nice channels full of nice restaurants and Italian Cafes. It could be possible also  have a nice tour in early afternoon by boat along the channel. Time in disposition for free dinner and coming back at the hotel with overnight.   

3rd day half day in the morning to follow up the sightsseing of Milan with The Scala Theatre with admittance to visit inside this huge place. Following the area of the thematic itinerary of the Italian Fashion with Via Montenapoleone and the huge boutiques of the most iconic brand as Armani Gucci etc. Free time to join also the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele nearby the Duomo where will be other shops dedicated to “ Made in Italy”. Free lunch and free dinner. Overnight. 

4th day full day dedicated to the Genius of Leonardo da Vinci. Early morning guided tour in Santa Maria delle Grazie with the Leonardo Cenacolo  frescos with a very large reservation admittance. Following the free visit at the “ Museo della Scienza e Tecnologia of Leonardo da Vinci The largest permanent exhibition in the world dedicated to Leonardo da Vinci engineer and humanist A spectacular setting accompanies you on a journey that, starting from the Florence of the fifteenth century, traces the training of Da Vinci and the influence of Tuscan engineers up to his stay in the Milan of the Sforza. 5 Day in the morning departure to Venice by fast train (1 h.30 minutes) and meeting with the guide to start by foot the only way in Venice to discover this peculiar city in the world. The city made up of 118 tiny islands separated by canals is exploring it on foot with an expert local tourist guide, because walking on its 400 footbridges and through its narrow streets as well as alleys can give you the idea of being in a sort of labyrinth. During the tour you will reach the worldwide famous St. Mark Square, the centre of the Venetian life and point of arrival of the several coloured Carnival parades. The square is surrounded on three sides by shops and cafes and on the fourth one stands the St. Mark Cathedral, that is flanked by the Doge’s Palace. Free lunch and time in disposition to individual sightseeing or shopping. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.  

6th Day in the morning free time in Venice and in the afternoon leaving Venice and join Florence by fast train a very useful and economic way. Transfer at the hotel very close at the railway station with dinner and overnight.  

7th Day Florence Classic Tour just to start but very well full day to discovering Florence. Meeting with our guide in Santa Maria Novella with visiting the interior. Following transfer  to join the Duomo and the splendor architecture. Following  the Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, The Duomo. Stop free lunch and time in disposition to individual sightseeing or shopping. Free dinner at the hotel and overnight.   

8th Day dedicated to other individual sightseeing of the town with Santa Croce Church a huge treasure of holy art and the quarter around the church or the Uffizi National Gallery. Free lunch and departure  by fast train from  Florence to Milan where with private car the group will join the airport.  This day can be rescheduled in depending timetable fight. End of services in Italy given by Raggio Verde Incoming Italy.
